The Twisting Blades Rogue Build That’s Carrying Me Through Season 10

After trying a few different builds in Diablo 4 Season 10, I keep coming back to Twisting Blades Rogue. It’s not just because it’s strong – though it really is – but because it plays so differently from everything else. You’re not just smashing things until they fall over. You’re using positioning, movement, and timing to control the fight. Here’s what I’m currently running: Twisting Blades Poison Trap Poison Imbuement Caltrops Dash Death Trap This combination gives me everything I need – burst damage, crowd control, poison DoT (damage over time), and mobility. The trick is to lead enemies into your traps, slow them down with Caltrops, and then go in for the kill with Twisting Blades boosted by Poison Imbuement. And when things get hairy, Dash gets you out of trouble – or into a better position to strike. One of my favorite interactions is Death Trap into Poison Trap. You pull a group of enemies into one spot and drop poison on all of them. It’s satisfying every time. And with Twisting...

Discovering Chapter 2’s Dark Mystery in Dune Awakening

Image
When you first log into Dune: Awakening following the latest update, the world immediately pulls you into a new storyline brimming with intrigue and danger. Upon stepping out into the open, one of the first surprises is a visit from Zantara’s pet bat—a quirky and unique touch that sets the tone for the unfolding events. Shortly after, you receive a distressing call from Elara Tuek urging you to meet at Harko Village. This marks the beginning of the gripping Chapter 2 questline that will drag you into the shadows of Arakeen’s darkest secrets. Arriving at Harko Village, you quickly meet Elara and are soon thrust into a cinematic encounter with Count Fenring. He tasks you with hunting down a killer terrorizing Arakeen. This mission is formalized through the Proces-Verbal quest, which takes you deep into the political and criminal underbelly of the world. The storyline is immersive, blending rich narrative unfolding through cutscenes, character interactions, and investigative gameplay. You...

The Gluttons Hook A brutal melee weapon focused on bleeding damage

Image
The Glutton’s Hook is one of those weapons in Dune: Awakening that combines pure brutality with a unique tactical edge. You'll earn this weapon through the Epilogue Quest upon defeating the Glutton, a fearsome foe who isn’t easy to take down. This powerful hook doesn’t just pack a heavy punch — it also inflicts a severe bleeding effect on opponents. This bleeding damage stacks with each hit and even penetrates enemy shields, making it a nightmare for foes who rely heavily on defense. Unlike burning or poisoning, bleeding is subtle but deadly. It doesn’t kill instantly but stacks up quickly, slowly draining the enemy’s health over time — which can force opponents into mistakes or poor decisions as they try to manage their health under pressure. The subtlety of bleeding also means many players might ignore this effect entirely, making it a sneaky advantage in PvP combat. Groups fighting over valuable resources like Spice might find themselves slowly losing out because of this relentl...

Why Season 10 Might Finally Make Nesekem Worth Using

So here's something I never thought I’d say—I'm actually excited to try Nesekem, the Herald again. If you’ve been around the Diablo 4 community long enough, you probably know this weapon’s reputation. It’s often labeled as one of the weakest Mythics in the game, and for a long time, I agreed. I tried to make it work across multiple builds and it just never clicked. The numbers were there, but the synergy wasn’t. It felt like Blizzard handed us a fancy paperweight  Diablo 4 gold . But then came Season 10, and with it, the introduction of Chaos Uniques—a game-changer. For those who haven’t dug into the details yet, Chaos Uniques allow specific Unique items to roll in gear slots other than their original ones. That means weapons can show up as gloves, rings can become boots, and so on. Suddenly, that bottleneck where you had to choose between Rod of Kepeleke or Wushe Nak Pa for your weapon slot? Gone. You can equip one as your weapon and the other as gloves, or pants, or wherever ...

Zantara's Crysknife The Ultimate High-Risk High-Reward Blade

Image
When I finally got my hands on Zantara's Crysknife in Dune: Awakening , it felt like unlocking a cheat code—at least for a little while. This weapon is absolutely insane in terms of speed and damage. If you're into fast melee combat like me, where timing and aggression can turn the tide of any fight, this is the weapon to get your hands on. The Crysknife’s main strength is its unbelievable speed. You can shred through enemies before they even realize what hit them. Whether you're going up against NPCs or in the chaos of PvP battles, having this knife in your hand makes you feel like a whirlwind of death. The responsiveness and animation of the strikes are so fluid, it’s hard not to fall in love with it  Dune Awakening Solari . But here’s the kicker—and the tragedy. Once it breaks, that’s it. You don’t get a second chance. Zantara’s Crysknife is a one-time gift, granted at the end of the “Searching for Answers” questline, one of the final Epilogue missions. It's catego...

The unique affix on Nesekem the Herald changes combat strategy for Spiritborn players

Nesekem the Herald remains one of the weakest Mythic weapons in Diablo 4 despite the Spiritborn being a top-tier class. While the glaive offers decent stats on paper, its usability is severely limited by it only being equippable by the Spiritborn class, which reduces its overall appeal and versatility. Nesekem comes with solid inherent bonuses, such as +400% damage to elites, +200 to all stats, +1200 maximum life, +250% critical strike damage, and +450% overpower damage. On top of this, its unique affix marks a nearby enemy every 2 seconds, making them vulnerable and guaranteeing that all your hits on the marked target will critically strike and overpower until you hit them 10 times, which then clears the mark. This sounds promising, but in practice, the weapon doesn’t stand out much due to stronger alternatives available to Spiritborn players. The Spiritborn class has several Unique weapons that outclass Nesekem, such as the Rod of Kepeleke and Wushe Nak Pa, which provide better syner...

Spiritborn Skill Buffs in Diablo 4 Season 10 PTR Signal a Stronger Start for the Class

Image
Looking at the recent balance changes in the Diablo 4 Season 10 PTR, Spiritborn players have plenty to be happy about. Several of the Spiritborn’s core abilities have received noticeable buffs, potentially shaking up the class’s meta and playstyle. While it’s uncertain if all these changes will make it through to the final patch, the current boosts focus on some of the class’s signature skills, enhancing both damage and utility  Diablo 4 gold . For example, the skill Crushing Hand, which previously sent out two shockwaves that overlapped and dealt only 50% damage each, now deals full 100% damage per shockwave. This effectively doubles the impact of the skill, making it a much more powerful AoE tool. Similarly, Rake has become significantly stronger, increasing its initial damage from 30% to 40% and its explosion damage from 45% to 60%. This increased burst damage will make Rake a more reliable choice for clearing mobs and pressuring enemies. The key passive, Noxious Resonance, has ...
