Diablo 4 Adds Pets

The latest news is that Diablo 4 players can get free pets by simply following a simple step-by-step process. Diablo 4 launched the pet feature in the 1.4.2 update, made various adjustments to the Pit, and made other general changes to the game.

Three free pets

Diablo 4's participation in the Xbox Showcase revealed pet-related news for players. Unveiling a new look at the upcoming expansion Vessel of Hatred, Diablo 4 revealed three pets that players can get depending on the pre-ordered edition. The Standard Edition of Vessel of Hatred will give Diablo 4 players the snow leopard Alkor, while the Deluxe Edition will give them Alkor and the canine Hratli. Diablo 4 players who pre-order Vessel of Hatred Ultimate Edition will get, in addition to Alkor and Hratli, the tiger Natalya. But while the trio isn't available, one of the new pets is available now, and Diablo 4 players can get it easily.

Diablo 4 players can claim a new free pet called Asheara. To add the adorable dog to their adventures, players must go to Kyovadash and complete the Diablo 4 quest called Faithful Compaction. Once they complete the quest, Diablo 4 players can equip Asheara from their wardrobes, gaining an ally capable of picking up different items such as gold, herbs, ores, and gem shards, optimizing Diablo 4 players' journeys in a big way.

Popular features of the Diablo series

With the release of Diablo 4, players quickly felt the lack of pets, a popular Diablo 3 feature. In response to the absence of pets at Diablo 4's launch, General Manager Rod Fergusson said that pets would "look out of place" in the gothic fantasy world of Diablo 4. Diablo 3 introduced players to a variety of non-combat pets such as the Mime, a reference to the "Chest Monster," a classic RPG cliche, and the Friendly Gauntlet, a severed hand reminiscent of the Addams Family's Thing.

The addition of pets to Diablo 4 has been received with great enthusiasm by players, since many of them consider this feature one of their favorites from the Diablo franchise. Some have even offered suggestions to improve it, such as a "training system," where Diablo 4 players can teach their pets to sell things in town, interact with levers, and only pick up Legendary and Unique equipment. With the addition of this feature from its predecessor, players are waiting to find out if Diablo 4 will get another popular Diablo 3 feature, enhancing the gaming experience in yet another way.
