What Should Players Do for the Arrival of Diablo 4 Season 5?

Season 5 of Diablo 4 is just around the corner, so here are some things you need to do before you start this dark adventure with a new character.

Season 5 of Diablo 4

Choosing a Character Class

When Season 4 ends, your played character will revert to a normal, non-seasonal character - just like your other characters, so it may feel like a repetition. I recommend using Diablo IV's seasons as an opportunity to try out a new class each time, as taking advantage of each season's rewards and gimmicks will help keep the game fresh and varied.

Finishing the Campaign

You can choose to experience the story again in Season 5, but if you want to jump right into the new content, it's probably best to skip it again. You'll still need to build your character from scratch, of course, but the seasonal content will allow you to progress quickly, especially if you take advantage of World Tier boosts and seasonal journey steps.

Knowing How to Get a Mount

A great way to get a jump start in Season 5 is to have a horse. You'll need to complete the campaign once first - as this is where your character gets his first horse.

Find all the Altars of Lilith

If you’ve unlocked all Altars of Lilith, then every new character you start (and all your previous ones) will have these boosted stats at the start! This will save time in building up your character every time and allow you to jump right into Diablo 4’s seasonal content and start hacking away! You’ll notice a significant power boost in all your characters once the Altars of Lilith are unlocked.

Unlock the entire map and reputation

The more you travel around the map and unlock areas, the more reputation you gain. If you unlock the map with one character in Season 5 and start another, you’ll need to unlock certain waypoints again, but most will be ready once you activate one. Some waypoints will be locked behind a fortress again and will reset for each character. In fact, should you skip the campaign, find all Altars of Lilith, and unlock the whole map, you’ll begin Season 5 with a total of 3135 Renown right from the start.

Know Your Legendary Aspects

Any Legendary Aspects you unlocked before Season 5 will not carry over. The game will encourage you to find them and complete the various dungeons and bosses again. Choose U4GM to have cheap Diablo 4 boss materials for sale, and use coupon code "vien" to get 5% off at U4GM.

So, to make sure you can go straight to the best location to unlock the aspects you need when you start Season 5, make a note of the dungeons and aspects that will be most useful to your build.
