Dive into the CHOAM Salvage Rights Event in Dune: Awakening!
Dune: Awakening’s first global event, CHOAM Salvage Rights, has transformed the Hagga Basin into a thrilling battleground and treasure hunt zone. Running until September 10th, this event adds new cargo ships falling from the sky and heavily armed Kirab turrets on cliffs, creating a dynamic and dangerous landscape for players to explore.
To kick off the event, you won’t see any pop-up notifications when you log in. Instead, head to the Anvil Tradepost in the Eastern Vermillius Gap, where a new NPC called the CHOAM Representative stands near the contracts board. Talking to this vendor unlocks multiple contracts and lets you exchange the salvaged CHOAM Cargo for exclusive rewards.
The event’s core revolves around three exciting quests: Retrieve CHOAM Cargo from crashed ships and enemy gun emplacements; Sabotage Kirab Emplacements by defeating enemies and disabling turrets with your Cutteray; and Make Them Pay, which challenges you to hunt down 25 Kirab enemies scattered across Vermillius Gap regions Dune Awakening Items.
In my experience, the heart-pounding moments come from racing against the sandworms while scavenging cargo inside derelict freighters. Some ships are guarded fiercely, so teaming up or approaching with a powerful Cutteray upgrades the odds in your favor. The rewards, including unique weapon skins and the cool Harkonnen turret statue base decoration, make every risk worth it Safe Dune Awakening Solari.
If you love high-stakes exploration mixed with combat and collectibles, CHOAM Salvage Rights is a must-play event before the major update drops. Gear up, hit the dunes, and claim your share of CHOAM Cargo!
