Vile Lictor resides in the Umbral Foundry, situated in the Windspear sub-region. If you’re trying to farm him for the Undead Eye, there’s some good news: unlike other bosses, you don’t have to go through an extensive dungeon each time you want to face him. After defeating him once, you can skip the unnecessary sections and make a direct run to his boss lair. Just head for the Encore machine next to the jump pad that leads to his arena, and you’re good to go!

How to Defeat Vile Lictor Efficiently

Defeating Vile Lictor quickly is the key to making your farming sessions as smooth and efficient as possible. He has two health bars: the first is Armor, and the second is Shields. To take him down fast, you’ll need to use specific weapon types suited to each phase of the fight.

For the first phase (Armor), you’ll want to bring a strong Kinetic weapon, or better yet, a combination of Corrosive and Electric weapons. The armor can be tricky to break through with standard weapons, so using these elemental damage types is your best bet.

For phase two (Shields), your focus should shift to more powerful weapons. A Maliwan Shotgun with the Beam Tosser underbarrel is the ideal choice here. This combo can rapidly break through the boss's shield and move into the final phase with ease.

One weapon that can truly help you tear through Vile Lictor is the Complex Root with both Corrosive and Electric damage. This beast of a weapon melts the boss with ease due to his large hitbox. But if you don’t have this gun, don't worry – the Beam Tosser is your next best option. A few shots from this will melt his second health bar in seconds, and you’ll be one step closer to your Undead Eye Class Mod.

What Makes the Undead Eye Class Mod So Powerful?

So, what exactly does the Undead Eye Class Mod do for you? This mod significantly enhances Vex’s abilities, particularly her Blood Shot skill. Normally, Blood Shot activates when Vex kills a target with a sniper rifle, and it converts her next shot's damage to Kinetic damage while adding bonus damage based on her current health. Typically, this skill only activates when Vex uses a Repkit. However, with the Undead Eye, Blood Shot becomes a Kill Skill, meaning that every critical hit has a 33% chance to trigger it Borderlands 4 Cash.
