Spiritborn Skill Buffs in Diablo 4 Season 10 PTR Signal a Stronger Start for the Class
Looking at the recent balance changes in the Diablo 4 Season 10 PTR, Spiritborn players have plenty to be happy about. Several of the Spiritborn’s core abilities have received noticeable buffs, potentially shaking up the class’s meta and playstyle. While it’s uncertain if all these changes will make it through to the final patch, the current boosts focus on some of the class’s signature skills, enhancing both damage and utility Diablo 4 gold.
For example, the skill Crushing Hand, which previously sent out two shockwaves that overlapped and dealt only 50% damage each, now deals full 100% damage per shockwave. This effectively doubles the impact of the skill, making it a much more powerful AoE tool. Similarly, Rake has become significantly stronger, increasing its initial damage from 30% to 40% and its explosion damage from 45% to 60%. This increased burst damage will make Rake a more reliable choice for clearing mobs and pressuring enemies.
The key passive, Noxious Resonance, has also been reworked. It now causes Critical Strikes to trigger a Poisoning burst that deals 300% of Poisoning damage instantly, up from 180%, focusing much stronger single-target damage. On the flip side, the burst damage to nearby enemies has been halved—from 20% to 10%. This change balances the passive better for fights against bosses and elite enemies, where single-target damage matters most.
In addition to these, the Rebounding Aspect buff increases Quill Volley’s damage considerably, raising it from 35-55% to 50-70%. While Quill Volley itself has seen a slight damage decrease from 26% to 20%, the buff to the Spiritborn’s aspect means overall it will remain a strong choice for this class’s ranged burst.
Despite a few minor nerfs, the overall Spiritborn’s prospects look pretty bright going into Season 10. Unless more significant nerfs appear before launch, the class could see a strong rise thanks to these targeted buffs buy Diablo 4 Items.
